On this page are a just few of the many projects I’ve worked on prior to starting Burrowes Instruments.
Burrowes Instruments is an extension of my career, in which I worked as machinist, fabricator, instrument builder, and mechanical designer. It’s been my great good fortune to have had the privilege of working a large number of fascinating projects, from building world class sailing yachts, to helping build instruments for the Hubble Space Telescope and Spitzer Observatory. I’ve worked in such diverse industries as biotech, advanced optics, telecommunications, astronomy, and remote site installations. The common thread is solving problems and building things.
